Scott Smith, PA-C, brings a wealth of medical expertise and compassion to our team, shaped by decades of diverse clinical experience. His career in medicine began in 1994 as an EMT, followed by roles as a firefighter and paramedic. After sustaining a career-ending injury in the field, Scott pivoted into a new path—attending Physician Assistant school and going on to build an impressive career in emergency and orthopedic medicine.

 

Scott continues to serve his community as a provider in the Emergency Department at Maui Health, where he remains committed to delivering high-quality, timely care in high-pressure environments. In addition to his emergency and orthopedic background, Scott specializes in interventional pain management and men’s health, blending clinical precision with a deeply personal understanding of injury and recovery.

 

As a former professional athlete who has faced and overcome countless injuries, Scott is uniquely positioned to understand his patients’ pain—both physical and emotional. His ability to truly relate to those he cares for is one of his greatest strengths and the foundation of the trust he builds with each patient.
